Position Overview
A rapidly growing specialty surgical practice is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and advanced practice providers in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Prepare examination rooms and clinical equipment
- Assist providers during patient visits and procedures
- Document patient information within the EMR system
- Coordinate testing, referrals, and follow-up care
- Support pre-operative and post-operative patient workflows
- Maintain clinical supplies and ensure a clean work environment
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Prior medical assistant or clinical support experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare workflows
- Strong communication and patient service skills
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- $50,000 - $60,000+ (based on experience)
