Our Client is replacing the existing on-premises procurement management system with a new state-of-the-art cloud solution. OCP seeks a Project Manager to support the Project Management Office (PMO) by overseeing change management and training.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage project activities, including developing, maintaining, and monitoring schedules; creating and organizing project documents; coordinating weekly status reports; preparing PMO status reports and presentations; and maintaining project artifacts in Microsoft Teams.
- Develop change strategies and project plans aligned with OCP and District goals, ensuring changes achieve desired outcomes.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement, clearly and consistently communicating the vision and goals of the changes.
- Create and manage change management and training plans and schedules that align with the overall project timeline.
- Assess change impacts on business processes, OCP staff, client agencies, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Identify potential resistance to change and develop mitigation strategies.
- Work with the PMO and project managers to ensure team members have the knowledge and skills to support stakeholders during adoption.
- Monitor change and training progress, measure effectiveness, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Support embedding change into OCP and District culture, policies, and operations beyond initial implementation.
- Translate strategic vision into actionable plans, including resource alignment, training, communications, testing, go-live preparations, and post-go-live support.
- Coordinate workstream resources, monitor activities, and update schedules to maintain alignment with PMO timelines.
- Leverage experience on large or complex projects to:

- Analyze delivery dates and create innovative Microsoft Project schedules or Agile Scrum roadmaps
- Align schedules with stakeholders, workstreams, technology, and methodology to deliver on time and within budget
- Track milestones and report progress
- Oversee project scope and objectives, including RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions), change management, and communications processes.
- Maintain organized project documentation in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Participate in PMO, Steering Committee, and other meetings, documenting discussions and decisions.
- Serve as a liaison between the PMO, project managers, and team members.
- Provide comprehensive support for all PMO activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in change management, IT, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Expert proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated experience managing change management initiatives, including producing clear, high-quality written communications and stakeholder-facing materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to a variety of audiences.
- Experience with Agile Scrum project management methodology, including sprints and roadmaps.
- Ability and willingness to work onsite 4 days per week.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Change Management, IT, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience: 20 years (Required)
- Expert proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint): 16 years (Required)
- Managing change management initiatives, with strong written communication skills: 16 years (Required)
- Experience with Agile Scrum project management methodology, including sprints and roadmaps: 16 years (Required)
- Proven leadership and decision-making skills managing a diverse team including onsite and virtual team members: 16 years (Required)
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences: 16 years (Required)
- PMP certification: 16 years (Highly Desired)
- Microsoft SharePoint and Teams: 8 years (Highly Desired)
