We prioritize teamwork, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing practice.
OverviewThe Medical Assistant plays a vital role in our clinic, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patient care. This position requires a caring and compassionate individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The MA will be responsible for a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, directly impacting the patient experience!

Responsibilities

  • Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations
  • Taking and recording patient vitals (e.g., blood pressure, pulse, temperature)
  • Calling patients with test results and prescription information
  • Completing prior authorizations for medications and procedures
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Maintaining patient charts and ensuring accuracy of information
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications and Skills

  • Medical Assistant (MA) Diploma and completion of externship required
  • One year of MA experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • MA credentials/certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
  • Current on all vaccinations and immunizations
  • Prior experience in a surgical clinic is preferred
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care


Schedule:Monday - Thursday (8:00AM - 5:00PM)
Friday (8:00AM - 4:00PM)
Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 Hourly
