Halifax Veterinary Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team!
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, motivated technicians who want to fully utilize their abilities while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets in a supportive, team-focused environment.
In this role, you will:
• Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, and dental cleanings with radiographs
• Maintain efficient exam room workflow while delivering outstanding client communication
• Review treatment plans, provide clear discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and professionalism
• Collaborate closely with the medical team to support the veterinarian’s orders and ensure the highest level of patient care
This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient care, strong teamwork, and practicing high-quality medicine.
Schedule:
Flexible, full-time position with a 5/8 schedule. Availability needed Monday–Friday with future rotating Saturdays
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $17-25 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $500-2000 depending on experience and licensure
- CE allowance: Up to $1,000 for credentialed technicians in the state of FL

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Surgical monitoring and intubation
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Dental prophylaxis
- Radiology
- Intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
- Diagnostic radiology
