JohnHart is launching JohnHart Media, an in-house media division focused on creating high-quality, original content that builds authority, trust, and long-term brand value. We are hiring a Director of Media to lead this effort end-to-end.
This is not a social media posting role. This role owns media creation, production quality, storytelling, and distribution standards across all platforms.
The Director of Media will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for building a scalable media engine that supports agents, leadership, and the JohnHart brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all media creation across video, audio, and long-form content
- Own creative direction, storytelling, and production standards
- Oversee video shoots, editing, post-production, and delivery timelines
- Build and manage a small in-house team and outside creators as needed
- Develop content series, themes, and narrative arcs aligned with company goals
- Partner with leadership to shape messaging and thought leadership content
- Ensure consistency and quality across all owned media channels
- Establish workflows, systems, and output cadence for media production

Qualifications
- Proven experience leading media, content, or production teams
- Strong background in video production and storytelling
- Experience building content for brands, studios, or digital platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with high standards
- Comfortable working directly with executives and on-camera talent
- Strong creative judgment with operational discipline
