The CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices in multiple industries.
Shifts Available: Day Monday - Friday
CNC Machinist Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Lathe, Mill and wire EDM
- Perform quality inspection on completed parts
- Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance
- Set-up work holding and cutting tools
CNC Machinist Position Requirements:
- Operator experience with CNC Lathe, Mill (horizontal and vertical) and wire EDM
- Experience with work holding and cutting tool set-up on CNC Lathe, Mill (horizontal and vertical)
- Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with both Haas and Fanuc machine controls
- Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer
CNC Machinist Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Machining experience with Aerospace components, devices, or instruments
- Experience with set-up on CNC Lathe, Mill and wire EDM
- Experience with CMM and surface plate Inspection
- Programming experience a plus
