Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students with communication disorders in an elementary school setting located in San Jose, California. This full-time, 37.5 hours per week contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a dedicated team of education and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students across kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to monitor student progress.
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech-language disorders.
  • Deliver therapy services through in-person and teletherapy platforms as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience working in pediatric settings, schools, or teletherapy.
  • Strong understanding of speech-language pathology best practices for school-aged children.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently and collaboratively with school teams.
