Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Required to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
\n• Work every other weekend with no call requirements
\n• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 depending on level of care
\n• Unit has 20-24 beds with 26 total staff members
\n• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
\n• Night shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
\n• Must have telemetry competency and acute inpatient care experience
\n• Charge experience preferred
\n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
\n• Required to float to ED hold area and other inpatient units
\n• Work with telemetry equipment and Cerner EMR system
\n• Perform typical inpatient medical/step-down procedures
\n• Dress code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, or all white scrubs
\n• Ideal candidate has positive attitude, patient experience focused, kind, and compassionate personality
