Role Overview
As a Customer Service Representative at Mahaska, you will be a vital support link between our customers and internal departments. This role requires a versatile professional who can pivot seamlessly from high-level data analysis and customer support to creative development of visual marketing assets. You won’t be just answering phones, you will be a driving force for sales, logistics and marketing of our brands.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Administrative Reliability: Maintain consistent, reliability and a positive attitude while collaborating with a diverse team to provide accurate, efficient administrative support and pivot seamlessly between creative and technical tasks as needed
- Inbound/Outbound Support: Delivers comprehensive internal and external support by managing all correspondence with a polished professional presence, ensuring timely resolution of customer concerns and providing accurate, efficient administrative collaboration for the entire team.
- Order Management: Process service requests, including accurate order entry, pricing adjustments, and order tracking. Develop and recommend data-driven operational solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
- Database Management & Reporting: Proven experience in database administration and maintenance, with a strong background in performing data analysis and sales reporting to provide actionable insights to the team.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales staff by conducting in-depth data analysis, by pulling data reports to identify new growth opportunities for the company.
- Graphic Design: Leverages advanced proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to design professional marketing collateral, including flyers, sales sheets, and digital illustrations, for departmental and brand-wide needs.
- Social Media Engagement: Takes ownership of design projects and social media engagement to maintain a consistent brand presence while collaborating with team leaders to ensure all content aligns with style guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Requires a minimum a High School Diploma and a minimum of 4 years in a customer focused role.
- Must have a driver’s license with a good driving record and be 21 years of age or older.
- Possess the ability to work independently as well as have excellent communication skills.
- Extensive experience in data entry and database administration, with the ability to pull complex reports and conduct data analysis to identify sales growth opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in order entry, pricing adjustments, and logistical coordination (such as driver support).
