Compensation:
The base salary for this position typically ranges from $70,00 to 80,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, experience, job-related expertise, and geographic location. Depending on the position, target bonuses and other forms of compensation may also be offered as part of a comprehensive total rewards package, which includes a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Transportation Analyst (or Transportation Planner, based on your organizational preference) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation and logistics, a solid understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and demonstrated strengths in multitasking and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Monitor logistics performance, analyze data, and generate reports to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with DOT and other relevant transportation regulations, staying current with industry standards and updates.
- Develop and refine transportation routes to reduce costs and enhance delivery performance.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve logistics challenges and maintain smooth operations.
- Contribute to the development and execution of logistics strategies that support growth and operational excellence.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines and service levels are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align logistics operations with broader company goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in logistics systems, including TMS, ERP, and inventory management tools; strong analytical skills using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or Tableau.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at solving problems in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
