Job DescriptionDescription:

Join ExcelHealth Group, LLC and help bring high-quality dental care directly to residents of long-term care facilities across the state. As a Mobile Dental Clinic Manager, you’ll lead a small traveling clinic team, operate a custom-built mobile dental unit, and make a meaningful difference for patients who may not otherwise have easy access to care.

Why You’ll Love This Role

· Make a direct impact by helping deliver dental care to residents in long-term care facilities.

· Lead a close-knit mobile clinic team in a hands-on, active role.

· Travel throughout Ohio with company-covered hotel, fuel, and meal support tied to overnight travel.

· Receive training and support; prior dental or medical experience is helpful but not required.

· Build valuable experience in healthcare operations, patient care coordination, logistics, and team leadership.

About the Position

This is a high-travel, field-based position responsible for transporting and managing a mobile dental clinic at long-term care facilities throughout the state. The clinic manager drives a company pick-up truck towing a custom mobile dental unit and oversees daily clinic operations with a small team.

The mobile clinic team typically includes the clinic manager, a registered dental assistant, and a patient transporter. Dentists generally meet the team separately at facility locations.

Travel expectation: This role requires statewide travel five days per week and frequent overnight stays, typically three to four nights per week.

What You’ll Do

· Safely drive the company pick-up truck while towing the mobile dental clinic to scheduled facility locations.

· Lead daily clinic workflow, including patient flow, treatment note dictation, and coordination with the dentist and team members.

· Complete daily safety and equipment checks for the truck, trailer, and mobile clinic.

· Manage clinic setup, breakdown, maintenance needs, and basic troubleshooting while on the road.

· Communicate professionally with facility partners, dentists, team members, and internal scheduling staff.

· Enter notes and information into company software and use proprietary equipment as trained.

· Maintain a safe, secure, and patient-centered clinic environment by following company standards and regulatory requirements.

· Anticipate patient and facility needs while delivering an excellent customer service experience.

What We’re Looking For

· A valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.

· Willingness and ability to learn how to drive a truck towing a trailer.

· Comfort with frequent travel and three to four overnight stays per week.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to learn computer systems, medical terminology, company software, and proprietary equipment.

· Dependability, punctuality, professionalism, and a patient-focused attitude.

· Ability to perform active work such as stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, climbing, setup, breakdown, and daily safety checks.

· Successful completion of a background check with acceptable results.

Preferred Experience

· Experience pulling a trailer is preferred.

· Medical, dental, patient care, transportation, logistics, or team leadership experience is helpful but not required.

· Computer experience is preferred.

Benefits and Travel Support

· Company-covered fuel, overnight hotel, and daily meal budget for qualifying overnight travel.

· Company-recognized paid holidays.

· Paid time off.

· Health insurance reimbursement.

· Future growth opportunities.

This position is subject to a background check and an acceptable motor vehicle report.

As a healthcare organization providing services onsite at long-term care facilities, we follow each facility’s applicable health and safety entry policies.
