Job Description:

As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for building the electrical components of all chamber models, utilizing foundational skills and understanding of process flow. You will work under direct supervision, following engineering documents, wiring diagrams, schematics, and written work instructions with minimal assistance. Your role involves building sub-assemblies, preparing panels, and ensuring all electrical assembly details are correctly accomplished.

Responsibilities:

  • Build the electrical portion of all chamber models using basic skills and understanding of process flow.
  • Follow company engineering documents, wiring diagrams, schematics, and written work instructions with minimal assistance.
  • Build sub-assemblies such as e-stop panel assemblies, cable assemblies, sub-panel assemblies, and junction box assemblies.
  • Prepare panels, including wire preparation, din rail cuts, panel labeling, and mounting of fuses, relays, controls, and circuit breakers.
  • Install all parts and sub-assemblies for the electrical assembly of the chamber, ensuring all details are accomplished properly.
  • Perform all wire routing and electrical connections of pneumatics assemblies, power panel assemblies, e-stop panel assemblies, sub-panel assemblies, and junction box assemblies.
  • Pull parts from the warehouse to fulfill work orders.
  • Initiate Corrective Process Reports (CPR) when non-conformances occur during assembly.
  • Use hand tools such as wire preparation tools, wire crimpers, drills, wrenches, saws, grinders, screwdrivers, and knives.
  • Clean the work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain regular, physical attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, assembly instructions, and schematics.
  • Experience with hand tools, soldering, and wire preparation.
  • Demonstrates continuous learning and seeks feedback to improve performance.
  • Exhibits good job knowledge and the ability to learn and apply new skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and works well in group problem-solving situations.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Dependability in following instructions and completing tasks on time.

This is a Contract position based out of Aurora, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.38 - $22.38/hr.
