The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) is the national medical society representing emergency medicine. Through continuing education, research, public education, and advocacy, ACEP advances emergency care on behalf of its 41,000 emergency physician members, and the more than 150 million Americans they treat on an annual basis.
Located in Irving, Texas, we offer paid insurance plans (medical, dental, and vision), retirement, flextime, and more. This role is currently based in Irving, TX and is not open to remote applicants; however, a hybrid schedule of in-office work and work-from-home is available upon approval by the manager.
The Accreditation Program Specialist is responsible for assisting ACEP leadership with administrative efforts as directed for each of our respective accreditation programs.
This role’s responsibilities include but are not limited to direct marketing to re-enlist emergency department participation in said programs, maintaining web portals for both applicant/reviewer use, working exhibit booths during our annual conference (Scientific Assembly), and supporting partner organizations as needed.
Our ideal candidate has...
- A bachelor’s degree with a focus in sales, marketing, communications, education, healthcare, or related field. Equivalent work experience can be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- A minimum of 3 years’ comparable experience in a project management role, with experience in accreditation programs preferred.
- Ability to travel as required, between 1 – 2 times per year, with a duration of 2 – 4 days at a time.
Other desired qualifications include prior work experience in accreditation programs, marketing, meeting planning, healthcare fields, and/or emergency departments.
