Our expanding remote education network is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential munication services to students throughout Ohio. This position bines the convenience of remote work with the rewarding experience of helping students overe munication challenges in virtual learning environments.
Position Details
Working 35-37.5 hours weekly, you'll manage a diverse caseload of approximately 50-60 students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. This remote position allows you to deliver specialized speech and language services through cutting-edge virtual platforms while maintaining professional autonomy and flexible scheduling.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess students' speech and language abilities using virtual evaluation tools
- Create individualized therapy programs targeting specific munication goals
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions through interactive virtual platforms
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment approaches accordingly
- Collaborate with general education teachers and special education teams
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
- Provide family education and support for home practice activities
- Maintain pliance with federal and state special education regulations
Required Credentials
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Ohio speech-language pathologist license
- Minimum 2 years school-based experience
- Experience with virtual therapy delivery preferred
- Proficiency in assistive technology and digital munication tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Student Population
You'll work with students presenting various munication needs including phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, social munication difficulties, and augmentative munication requirements. Our virtual model serves students in urban, suburban, and rural munities, providing access to specialized services regardless of geographic location.
