Looking for a talented Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of prior working experience estimating and managing landscape, irrigation, and grading projects. Bachelor’s Degree in a Business Management, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience preferred. Must be proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Effective oral and written communications skills. Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
· Gathering, calculating, and compiling accurate take-off data (utilizing Quick Measure Onscreen software) for use in project bid proposals for new home construction site standard landscaping and grading projects, for Model Home landscape enhancements and site amenities, and for Custom home project.
· Maintaining current and accurate information on prices from suppliers and subcontractors
· Generating detailed job site-specific irrigation and landscape material take-offs for future ordering.
· Communicating with field Supervisors and updating material order take-offs as needed.
· Understanding client needs via regular communication with Supervisors to meet material order scheduling demands. Monitoring supplier costs of delivered materials
· Utilizing standard computer software to present information to management and owner
· Demonstrating role model behaviors in ethics and integrity
