Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare opportunity is available for a Radiologic Technologist I specializing in diagnostic radiographic examinations. This role requires technical proficiency in radiology imaging, patient positioning, and operation of radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. The position operates under general guidance and includes essential responsibilities ranging from film processing to patient care and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic exams by positioning patients and selecting appropriate technical factors.
  • Utilize radiation protection methods to minimize exposure to patients.
  • Conduct portable x-ray procedures in various settings including patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency departments.
  • Ensure accurate identification and labeling of patient films.
  • Process exposed x-ray films using available methods.
  • Assist physicians by preparing and administering radiopaque contrast media.
  • Manage scheduling, patient instructions, film filing, and related administrative duties.
  • Support patients in moving and positioning during imaging.
  • Maintain a clean and organized x-ray room.
  • Modify patient care approaches to accommodate specific needs based on age, culture, and physical or sensory limitations.
  • Adhere to all organizational standards and competencies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certified Radiologic Technologist with relevant licensing.
  • Ability to operate radiographic equipment and perform portable x-rays.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning techniques.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and handling physical demands of the role.
  • Effective communication skills tailored to diverse patient populations.
