Job Summary

The general manager is responsible for the overall profitability of the branch. They oversee all projects with the assistance of the production team and superintendent. Every project will have a job sheet the superintendent is responsible for creating and managing with their team. The general manager is accountable for every position and its contribution to the branch’s success. They also directly oversee any sales processes with the assistance of the superintendent for pricing and quality control of the reports (inspections, proposals, and repair documentation). The general manager will meet weekly (suggested on Thursday’s) with the service coordinator and the superintendent to review and ensure the schedule meets weekly revenue, due date requirements, the upcoming week, and the revenue produced per van.

The key responsibilities of the General Manager include, but are not limited to:

1.Divisional Revenue

2.Divisional NET Profit

3.ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue)

DELIVERABLE 1 EXPLAINED – DIVISIONAL REVENUE: The General Manager is responsible for the total billed revenue. This is tracked on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The expectation is they are working with their team to ensure an efficient process where service tickets are able to be invoiced within 72 hours of completion. Revenue is reported on consistent basis via accounting report.

•DELIVERABLE 2 EXPLAINED – DIVISIONAL NET PROFIT: The General Manager is accountable for the Net profit of the division. This means everything below the line (cost of services). They should work in conjunction with the administrative and field team to ensure costs are managed and efficiency budgeted to result in a positive net profit. These reports should be delivered from the companies accounting program monthly and projected on a weekly basis to ensure efficient tracking throughout the month.

•DELIVERABLE 3 EXPLAINED – ARR (ANNUAL RECURRING REVENUE): The General Manager is responsible for ensuring that the ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) increases monthly based on the company’s defined goals. Each property that does not have an active agreement should have an annual inspection included in any proposal provided to the site. The tolerance is that 80% of proposals delivered without a preventative maintenance visit should have a single annual inspection for a lump sum cost.

Qualifications

•Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and building codes.

•Proven leadership and team management skills.

•Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

•Experience with construction software and reporting tools.

•Ability to make strategic decisions and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience

•2 years in construction management, overseeing projects and teams.

•Proven track record in budgeting, scheduling, and delivering projects on time and within scope.

•Experience leading project managers and field staff while ensuring quality and safety compliance.

•Familiarity with contracts, procurement, and vendor management.

•Comfortable using construction software and reporting tools to track performance
