About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support their rapidly growing organization. This role requires strong experience with CAQH and payer enrollment across various systems and health plans. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Compile and maintain current and accurate data for all providers
- Complete provider payer enrollment applications; monitor status and follow up
- Maintain up-to-date state licenses, DEA certifications, and malpractice records
- Set up and manage provider information in multiple credentialing systems
- Track expiration dates for licenses, DEA, and certifications
- Maintain accurate practice addresses and ensure directory audits are completed
- Provide credentialing and privileging verifications
- Work closely with health plans, physicians, and internal departments
- Assist in transitioning banking lockboxes
- Ensure confidentiality of all provider information
- Contribute to intranet updates with credentialing contract details
Qualifications:
Required:
- Experience with CAQH
- Prior credentialing experience with Illinois payors
- Familiarity with systems like ECW, Acumen, EPIC, or AdvancedMD
- Knowledge of at least one credentialing platform: One App, PECOS, Webcrawler, or Impact
- Experience managing credentialing contracts and onboarding processes
- Strong written/verbal communication and attention to detail
- Tech-savvy and computer proficient
- GED or High School Diploma
- Background and drug screen required
Preferred:
- Payor experience in MI, NJ, IN, TX, or OH
Pay range and compensation package:
Pay: $25–$30/hour
