Pride Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join a team in Teaneck, NJ 07666. This is a 6-months contract with the possibility of extension.
Job Description:
· Escort patients from the waiting area to exam rooms.
· Record vital signs (height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, etc.).
· Obtain patient history and reason for visit; document in the EMR (Epic).
· Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
· Set up and clean medical instruments and equipment.
· Provide support in conducting vision and hearing tests, developmental screenings, and other age-appropriate pediatric assessments.
· Vaccination and Medication Administration.
· Administer vaccines and oral/injected medications as directed by providers.
· Ensure correct documentation of lot numbers, expiration dates, and administration sites.
· Educate parents/guardians about immunizations and potential side effects.
Required:
· 1+ years of experience required.
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Medical Assistant Certificate
· BLS from AHA

Location: Teaneck, NJ 07666
Schedule: Typical shifts vary between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Contract Length: 6 months
Local Pay Rate: $20.00 – $23.00/hour
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
