Puyana Plastic Surgery is a high-end, innovative, and rapidly growing aesthetic plastic surgery practice seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in delivering a concierge-level, five-star, patient-centered experience, serving as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and the surgeon throughout the surgical journey.
Spanish fluency is required.
Responsibilities
Patient Experience & Relationship Management
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a 5-star patient experience at every touchpoint
- Act as the liaison between the patient, clinical staff, and surgeon
- Build strong rapport and trust with prospective and existing patients
- Communicate professionally via phone, email, text, and in person (company cell phone provided)
Lead Management & Communication
- Effectively manage and follow up with all inbound leads
- Respond to all patient emails and calls within 24 hours
- Provide leads with clear information regarding procedures, recovery, and cost estimates
- Promote the surgeon, practice philosophy, and surgical results in a professional and ethical manner
Consultation & Surgical Coordination
- Assist with in-person and virtual consultations
- Meet with patients after consultations to review plans and next steps
- Prepare and present surgical quotes for in-person and virtual patients
- Customize the care plan for each patient based on surgeon recommendations and patient goals
- Coordinate surgical scheduling, pre-operative requirements, and post-operative appointments
- Provide ongoing patient education, coordination, and support throughout the surgical process
Professionalism & Expertise
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of all practice services and procedures
- Demonstrate a polished, professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, accountability, and self-motivation
- Work collaboratively as part of a team-oriented, patient-first environment
Qualifications
Required
- Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- Experience in patient care coordination, medical office administration, or a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly articulate, poised, polished, and congenial
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Preferred
- Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, or cosmetic medicine
- Experience preparing surgical quotes or treatment plans
- Familiarity with EMR and/or CRM systems
