We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Contract HR Generalist to support core human resources functions during a temporary assignment. This role will assist with employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, recruiting coordination, HR compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily HR operations and respond to employee and manager questions regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and system updates
  • Coordinate recruitment support tasks such as job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and background check processing
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update data in HRIS systems
  • Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment support, and employee inquiries
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws
  • Support employee relations matters by documenting issues and partnering with HR leadership as needed
  • Assist with performance management processes, reporting, and other HR projects
  • Prepare HR documents, reports, and correspondence as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a generalist or broad HR support role
  • Working knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, onboarding, and compliance
  • Experience with HRIS systems; familiarity with Workday is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to quickly adapt and contribute in a contract or interim capacity
