We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer with an active Professional Engineer (PE) Stamp to support the design and execution of modular E-House (Electrical House) systems. This role is integral to our E-House team and focuses on the structural design of modular power and electrical enclosures, supporting mission-critical electrical infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate has a Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree, hands-on structural design experience, and a strong interest or background in power-related, modular, or prefabricated systems. An active PE stamp is required for consideration.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering efforts for modular E-House systems, including steel framing, base skids, lifting and transportation loads, foundations, and equipment support structures
- Develop, review, and stamp structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for modular electrical buildings
- Analyze loads specific to modular systems, including equipment weight, dynamic loads, shipping, lifting, and installation conditions
- Collaborate daily with the E-House, electrical, mechanical, and fabrication teams to ensure designs are fully integrated and constructible
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, seismic and wind requirements, local AHJs)
- Review vendor drawings, shop drawings, and submittals related to modular and electrical equipment
- Provide technical guidance during fabrication, assembly, transportation, and on-site installation
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of modular design standards

Required Qualifications
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in structural engineering with the ability to independently stamp designs
- Strong understanding of structural steel and foundation design
- Excellent coordination skills in multidisciplinary engineering environments

Highly Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with modular buildings, E-Houses, or prefabricated electrical enclosures
- Experience supporting electrical, power, substation, utility, or industrial infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of transportation, lifting, and rigging design considerations for modular systems
- Familiarity with structural analysis software (STAAD, RISA, SAP2000, ETABS, etc.)
- Experience working closely with electrical engineers, equipment suppliers, and fabricators
- Multi-state PE licensure
