Warehouse Lead – Contract Logistics
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Pay: $22–$24 per hour
LOGISTEED-America, a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to support and guide daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Operations Manager by leading daily warehouse activities and associates
- Oversee inbound receiving, inventory control, returns (RGA), and outbound shipping
- Use WMS to plan, allocate, and manage daily orders with high accuracy
- Monitor KPIs, productivity, quality, and safety performance
- Ensure inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
- Train and coach warehouse associates across multiple functions (receiving, put-away, picking, scanning, shipping)
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams and customers
- Promote a safe, organized, and team-focused work environment
What You Bring
- 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment
- Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety (OSHA)
- Experience with WMS and RF scanners (preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and lead by example in a hands-on role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret pick/selection/put-away orders
- Ability to respond effectively to time sensitive work orders
- Must be at least 18 years of age

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Eighty-five percent of work time may be spent in various warehouse or other locations where the environment is not climate controlled (hot and cold seasonally).
