Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services in an elementary setting located in Hayward, CA. This role involves delivering high-quality speech therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting their communication and language development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric populations
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Providing therapy services through in-person and teletherapy formats
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with educational and healthcare regulations
  • Participating in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and consultations

Qualifications:

  • Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with school-based speech therapy and teletherapy delivery methods
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families

Job Details:

  • Location: Hayward, CA (Elementary School)
  • Contract duration: Full school year (NSY)
  • Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Serving students from K-12th grade
