Position Details:
Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Tele | Weekend Option
Location: Our facility - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128
Schedule: Weekend Option (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) | Full-Time | 36 hours/week
Weekend Differential: Earn an additional $20/hour for all hours worked from Friday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM.
Sign-On Bonus:
- Experienced Nurses: Up to $10,000
- New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience): Up to $5,000
Role Overview:
This position involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care. The RN will maintain professional accountability for the care provided to assigned patients, assess the effectiveness of care from other caregivers, and coordinate patient care with various departments. Upholding patient rights and confidentiality is essential, and all duties must align with our mission, values, and service standards.
Qualifications
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with one of the following:
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure: A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact licensure is required, in accordance with state nursing board regulations.
Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be necessary depending on the unit.
Certifications:
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: BSN is preferred
- Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications are preferred
- Experience: Previous experience in a specialty area or similar clinical environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
- Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to perform nursing tasks
