Operations Manager (Bilingual – English/Mandarin Required)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Operations Manager who is fluent in both English and Mandarin to lead our key operational departments. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving excellence across Parts, After-Sales, Assembly/Warehouse, Logistics & Inventory, and Order Processing functions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, values efficiency, and is passionate about building high-performing teams that deliver measurable results.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple departments, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational goals. Continuously refine processes to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Performance Management:
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all operational areas. Utilize ERP/WMS systems to drive data accuracy, transparency, and informed decision-making.
  • Strategic Collaboration:
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and other departments to optimize workflows, strengthen interdepartmental communication, and achieve unified business objectives.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at cost control, inventory optimization, and enhanced delivery performance. Proactively identify and resolve inefficiencies through innovative solutions.
  • Crisis and Issue Management:
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to operational challenges, ensuring continuity and stability in the supply chain and order fulfillment process.
  • Team Development:
  • Build, mentor, and inspire teams across all operational units. Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and growth through coaching, development, and succession planning.
  • Data-Driven Insights:
  • Analyze operational performance metrics to provide actionable insights that inform strategy and support executive decision-making.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success managing Parts, After-Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and Order Processing teams.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred).
  • Excellent analytical ability to interpret and present operational data.
  • Leadership Skills:
  • Demonstrated success in team building, leadership, and change management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Results-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Additional:
  • Familiarity with import/export and trade compliance preferred, especially for cross-border operations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
