Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in a school setting located in Manteca, CA. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to pediatric students across multiple grade levels, ranging from pre-kindergarten through high school. The ideal candidate will have experience working with early childhood populations as well as elementary, middle, and high school students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades Pre K through 12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students communication needs
  • Provide direct therapy services focusing on pediatric speech-language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification applicable to pediatric populations
  • Experience working in school settings with children from early childhood to high school levels
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development, disorders, and intervention techniques
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
