We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a busy Orthopedic practice. Must be able to cover both Clear Lake and Lake Jackson clinics. We ask that the applicant have at least 3 years of Medical Assistant experience. Medical Assistant duties will include, but are not limited to:
- answering phone calls, voicemails, and team communication promptly and efficiently
- drawing up injections
- communicating with insurance carriers and referring physician offices as needed
- casting, bracing, and splinting
- Medical Assistant administrative support
This Medical Assistant role requires daily walking and constant movement. Must be able to lift 25lbs.
