Job Title: Chemical Operator

Job Description

Join a dynamic team specializing in the manufacturing of specialized and polyurethane coatings for aviation, marine, and other industrial industries. With an extensive range of 80 topcoat colors, you will be involved in the crucial processes of mixing and batching these vibrant colors.

Responsibilities

  • Mix and batch ingredients according to detailed batch records.
  • Utilize technology efficiently to ensure precise batch mixing.
  • Monitor machines and equipment diligently throughout the production process.
  • Handle and work with various chemicals safely.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in chemical mixing or batching, particularly with paint or similar materials.
  • Proficiency in operating a forklift.
  • Familiarity with batch records and manual mixing procedures.
  • Keen attention to detail and labeling.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Great attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience with blending, batching, and machine operation.
  • Understanding of SOPs and chemical operations.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in a collaborative and safety-conscious environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.50/hr.
