Overview:
Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of patients? As a Staff Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a vital caregiver, responsible for a group of patients during your designated shift. You’ll utilize your nursing skills, knowledge of technology, and resources to provide exceptional care within our supportive institution.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties specific to your unit, ensuring high-quality care.
- Implement procedures and theories relevant to your area of practice.
- Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care for seamless communication within the healthcare team.
- Conduct initial patient assessments and develop tailored care plans based on patient and family needs.
- Continuously evaluate and modify care plans as necessary.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by addressing safety hazards promptly.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to resolve issues and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare the OR Suite with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Transport patients safely and perform timeouts before procedures.
- Support the surgical team during procedures by responding to requests and providing necessary supplies.
- Transport patients to the PACU or specific units, ensuring a smooth handoff to the receiving RN.
Qualifications:
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days (American Heart Association)
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
- Education: High School Diploma/GED; Associate's Degree
- Work Experience: Relevant nursing experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation range for this position is $35.22 - $60.58 per hour. This range reflects our commitment to fair compensation based on experience, qualifications, and other factors. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support our team members.
