A registered nurse with operating room experience is needed for a contract assignment in Espanola, NM. This role supports surgical services at a well-established 47-bed acute care facility serving Northern New Mexico. Candidates must be prepared for rapid response, with expected start dates within 7-10 days from offer acceptance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to all procedural protocols
- Comply with state-specific credentialing and background check requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with operating room experience required
- Current certifications as required by the facility prior to assignment
- Ability to start quickly and coordinate with orientation schedules (weekly, Mondays)
- Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travelers
- Must comply with New Mexico state fingerprinting and background screening policies
