Veterans Evaluation Services is seeking qualified Ophthalmologists and Optometrists to join our provider network as an independent contractor to perform disability examinations for Veterans for the following locations: Ft Wayne, IN
*Applicants must have their own office within 100 miles of the job location

Your Role as a Provider
- As a clinician, you are an expert in the assessment, evaluation
- As an independent contractor with VES, you apply your expertise in the evaluation and diagnosis of eye conditions to support a Veteran’s disability claim.
- As a certified medical disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations.
- You develop a medical opinion of the likelihood that the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service.
- The timely and expert examination assures that a Veteran’s claim is heard and dutifully processed by VBA.
Qualifications
- Ophthalmologist / Optometrist
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine / Doctorate Degree in Optometry
- An active and unrestricted license in the state in which exams are performed.
- Must have a practice location with visual field testing capabilities
