Salary Range: $54,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the shipping and receiving team.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Manage the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Train and mentor new shipping and receiving personnel.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures within the shipping and receiving area.
• Generate and review shipping and receiving reports for accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with production, quality control, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving environment, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in using shipping software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) implementation or advanced usage
• - Forklift certification and experience operating various types of material handling equipment
• - Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application in warehousing
• - Familiarity with international shipping regulations and documentation
