Location: Marietta
Pay rate: $23.00/hour - $24.00/hour
Hours: 8am-5pm with an hour lunch break.
***MUST Have Experience Painting Signs***
The Painter will be responsible for painting operations in the facility, including surface prep, priming, and finishing of sign components using spray equipment and other tools. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and enjoys a collaborative shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Painting Duties
Perform all painting tasks including sanding, priming, mixing paint, and applying finish coats to various substrates (aluminum, acrylic, metal, etc.).
Use spray equipment (HVLP, airless, or other systems) to achieve professional-grade
finishes.
Ensure proper surface preparation and masking prior to painting.
Maintain clean and organized paint booth and painting area.
Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
Skilled in using spray guns, mixing systems, and surface preparation tools.
Familiarity with materials used in sign and canopy production (aluminum, acrylic, vinyl, etc.).
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
Ability to follow work orders, blueprints, or shop drawings.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Must be able to lift 25+ lbs and perform physical work in a production setting.
Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude.
