About the Role
The Staff Pad is partnering with a premium, global logistics company that specializes in storing, moving, and shipping high-value items, fine art, antiques, and furniture to hire a Logistics Account Manager. The Logistics Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing the full lifecycle of high-value shipping and logistics projects. This role sits at the intersection of client service and operations, ensuring seamless coordination from quote through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client accounts and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the shipping process
- Oversee projects from initial quote through execution and final billing
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation, inventories, and commercial invoices
- Handle permitting requirements (CITES, NOAA, Fish & Wildlife, etc.)
- Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and internal teams to ensure timely execution
- Monitor timelines, costs, and service quality to meet client expectations
- Support senior account managers with documentation, invoicing, and client setup
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to company procedures
RequirementsQualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in logistics, shipping, fine art, or a related industry preferred
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with systems like Moveware is a plus)
