Job Description
Job Description
Kinetic Performance and Rehab is a mission/vision driven and independently owned cash PT practice in Winston Salem.
We opened in 2021 as the first true Performance PT practice in the area. We realized that adults with big fitness goals often fall through the healthcare cracks or are given the "stop lifting/stop running" narrative that is so common. Many of these people never get the care that they need to truly crush their goals. That's where we come in.
We specialize in fitness athletes (1v1 hour visits) with primary niche of Crossfit, weightlifting, and running and we're looking for a performance physical therapist to join our team!
We've built this model around getting people back in the gym and keeping them there for good. We believe PT is highly relational and the absolute best outcomes happen when care is provided "one on one" with the same provider every visit. Progressive loading is our love language of choice.
We operate on a few simple core values and are looking for someone who shares these beliefs:
1. Lead from the front: We expect our employees to be actively involved in the local fitness community, prioritize their own health, and be an example of health and wellness to those around them.
2. Relational is greater than clinical: We develop deep relationships with our patients that transcend the PT clinic. Relationships are more important than whatever the newest manual therapy technique may be.
3. People over pennies: We work directly for our patients and not for 3rd party payers. We do what is best for them no matter what that means for us.
4. Time is valuable: We put the highest value on time. We charge for our time and we respect our patients time above all else.
5. Honesty and transparency: We believe in healthcare transparency. Patients will know what the cost of service is before they begin. No unexpected bills. What you see is what you pay.
We're looking for a PT who is humble, hungry, and hospitable to help us change the way people rehab in the Triad.
Job requirements:
-must have experience treating and/or directly coaching fitness athletes
-must be dry needle certified and possess a high level of clinical skills
-must have a great attitude and excellent communication skills
-must be actively and intimately involved in the local fitness community
-must be comfortable learning sales and directly managing all aspects of the patient plan of care
-must hold a Doctorate of Physical Therapy
Job benefits:
-minimal documentation
-flexible schedule
-working with highly motivated patients who value your skills and give you energy
-1 on 1 patient care with full time case load of 25-32 patients a week
-chance to help re-define the PT profession and work with cool people
-salary with bonus structure to help you achieve your financial goals
This job might be for you if:
-you're sick of working in high volume/low quality clinics where your skills go to waste
-you are an athlete that wants to work with high level humans
-you're humble and highly coachable
-you want to help rebrand the profession and work in a setting you love
-you're a people person and communicate easily with others
-you're very comfortable in a gym environment
Ideal candidate would be:
-someone who resonates with the information above
-currently personally trains doing CrossFit or endurance running (not required, but both very applicable)
-has a strong desire to treat patients without restriction and develop deep relationships
"Our mission is to help you TRAIN FOR LIFE. Allowing you to overcome injury and train in ways that bring you joy for the duration of your lifetime."
"Our vision is to change the way fitness athletes and active adults VIEW, EXPERIENCE, and EXECUTE rehab in the triad."
We hope that you'll join us on that mission!
