Position: Electrical Engineer
Location: Detroit Metropolitan Area, MI (based out of Mt. Clemens, with hybrid flexibility)
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home while supporting projects based out of our Mt. Clemens office. The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components for building projects.
Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, and residential building projects

Plan and execute power distribution projects

Perform electrical load calculations and equipment sizing

Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations

Collaborate with mechanical, plumbing, and architectural teams to deliver integrated building systems

Support specialized system designs such as medical gas, temperature control, and advanced building automation
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Proficiency in electrical design and engineering

Strong knowledge of electricity, power systems, and distribution

Experience with building systems design is highly desirable

Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, etc.)

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong teamwork and communication abilities

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $60,000-$100,000 (based on experience)
