Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Two enthusiastic and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) are needed to support elementary students through contract opportunities near Aurora, IL. These positions will allow you to collaborate closely with skilled therapists and educators, providing vital services that enhance student growth and participation.
Position 1 includes supporting two elementary campuses to assist with separate, non-concurrent staff leaves. You’ll be engaged in a full-time role across the duration of the academic year, offering continuous, impactful care and ensuring student needs are met without interruption.
Position 2 involves serving a single elementary location while covering a full-time maternity leave from October through April, maintaining a steady presence and support for students and staff alike.
Key Qualifications:
- Active COTA licensure in Illinois
- School-based COTA experience highly preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Passion for supporting children in an educational setting
- Ability to work collaboratively with OTs, teachers, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans designed by supervising OTs
- Foster participation in classroom activities and daily routines
- Collaborate on IEP goals and student progress monitoring
- Document therapy sessions and student improvements accurately
- Provide adaptive strategies and support for classroom inclusion
