A Lead Music Teacher to serve as the vocalist and lead for our Rock, Smocks, and Animals class on Mondays at 9:30 AM.
This is a semester-long class for young children (ages 14 months to 3 years) and their adults. Each week, the group meets a new animal and participates in engaging, hands-on activities. Every other week, there’s also an art project that ties in with the animal of the week.
The teacher will lead the class by singing, engaging with the children, and using a variety of instruments and props. Every other week, they will also be teaching the art lesson that corresponds with the animal of the week.
The teacher is also accompanied by an acoustic guitarist. They will both be supported with a full curriculum with lesson plans that are already prepared to guide them through the semester.
Responsibilities include:

Leading the class through singing, movement, and interactive activities

Engaging children and caregivers in a fun, supportive learning environment

Using a variety of age-appropriate instruments and props

Teaching a simple, guided art activity every other week

Collaborating with an acoustic guitarist, who accompanies the class using a provided setlist
A full curriculum and detailed lesson plans are provided, allowing you to focus on performance, engagement, and connection with students.
Ideal candidates have experience working with young children, strong vocal skills, and a warm, energetic presence.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
