Audit Manager – CPA | Hybrid | High-Growth Public Accounting Firm

Job Type: Full-time

The firm serves a diverse client base and is seeking a Audit Manager (CPA) to join their team and help lead client engagements, develop staff, and support ongoing strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and manage audit/review engagements, including time budgets and audit programs.
Identify and resolve client operational issues, delivering timely, practical solutions.
Maintain strong client relationships to ensure retention and growth opportunities.
Review financial statements, assess audit materiality, and evaluate internal controls.
Organize, delegate, and oversee fieldwork to ensure timely, high-quality completion.
Review and approve audit programs, budgets, and planning work prepared by staff.
Prepare audit reports, financial statements, management letters, and related communications.
Conduct detailed reviews of staff work and provide constructive feedback.
Lead, train, and mentor team members; complete performance evaluations on time.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
Experience with ProSystems Engagement a plus.

Qualifications:

CPA required.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

5+ years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on audit.

Proven ability to manage audits from planning through completion
Experience working with clients across multiple industries
Skilled at supervising and developing staff
Client-focused with strong communication and relationship-building skills
