Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time Gateway, FL

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Gateway, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to help K12 students strengthen their communication, language, and speech skills, supporting both academic achievement and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students speech, language, and communication needs

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with targeted speech and language goals

• Provide direct therapy services addressing articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student engagement and learning

• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed

• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements

• Provide strategies, resources, and training to staff and families to encourage skill development beyond therapy sessions

• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district policies

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Current Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
