Duties

- Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate meal service times and maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils.
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques essential for high-quality meal production.
- Experience with dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
