Our organization is currently in search of a full-time Clinical Director to become a vital part of our team in Lufkin, TX. This role involves managing a community-based clinic, with responsibilities split evenly between clinical and administrative tasks. The selected candidate will play a key role in delivering primary, acute, and chronic healthcare services to veterans. The physician will engage in medical decision-making and offer a wide array of diagnostic and therapeutic services. Direct patient care, education for patients and their families, staff training, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be integral to this position. Additionally, the physician will contribute to the education of PA and NP students, residents, medical students, and interns, while also supervising mid-level practitioners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership by implementing changes in patient care programs informed by the latest research and findings.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a rotating day off; this may include extended hours and occasional Saturdays.
Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen (*Non-citizen candidates may be considered if no qualified U.S. Citizen is available*)

Possess a full and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. State

Board Certified or Board Eligible (Preferred)
