RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Multiple shifts available with in-time varying from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
\n• Full-time position
\n• Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience with most recent experience in ED - Level 1, 2, or 3 Trauma within 1 year
\n• Care for diverse patient population including clinic-type patients, strokes, STEMIs, Level I traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatrics, behavioral health, and all emergency department conditions
\n• Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
\n• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
\n• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
\n• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
\n• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
\n• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
\n• Required certifications: Current BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only), and TNCC
\n• New Mexico RN license or compact license required
\n• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
\n• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days and complete all annual competency verification requirements
