A School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2026-27 academic year in Barre, VT, providing essential psychological services within a school setting. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, delivering support and evaluations to students in a dynamic educational environment. Travel work is required, serving the Barre area.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to develop effective intervention strategies
- Providing counseling and support services to students with diverse needs
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to educational planning
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to state and ethical guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within a school environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in-person on site in Barre, VT
- Demonstrated knowledge of psychological testing and student support strategies
