Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Dental Assistant located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for supporting dentists during procedures, preparing and sterilizing dental tools, assisting with patient care, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the dental operatory is fully equipped and organized. Responsibilities also include educating patients on oral care best practices and ensuring their overall comfort throughout appointments.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Dental Assisting, including chair-side support and preparation for dental procedures
- Knowledge of Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care practices, and the ability to educate patients
- Skilled in Sterilization techniques to ensure the highest standards of infection control
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program and current certification (if required by the state of Oklahoma)
- Prior experience in a dental office is preferred but not required
