Job Description
Aegis is partnered with a rapidly growing industrial equipment manufacturer expanding operations to support a strong backlog of custom machinery and data center infrastructure projects. This organization has been operating for over a century and is significantly increasing production capacity, including launching a second shift.
 
They are seeking experienced Saw Operators to support fabrication operations.
 
Daily Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Operate horizontal band saw (Clausing Kalamazoo or similar)</li>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints and cut lists</li>
<li>Set up saws for various metal types, lengths, and angles</li>
<li>Verify dimensions using calipers, tape measures, and squares</li>
<li>Maintain tolerances required for downstream machining and welding</li>
<li>Maintain a safe, organized workspace</li>
<li>Support overtime needs to meet production deadlines</li>
</ul>
 
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>5+ years horizontal band saw experience</li>
<li>Experience cutting steel and aluminum</li>
<li>Blueprint reading proficiency</li>
<li>Strong understanding of tolerances</li>
<li>Ability to work overtime</li>
</ul>
