Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking two Occupational Therapists to support elementary-level students in a school setting located in Topeka, KS. These travel assignments run approximately from August 6, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with 35 to 40 hours per week. Caseloads will vary, providing the opportunity to work closely with diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services tailored to student needs within the school environment
- Manage Medicaid billing related to occupational therapy services
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required
- CPR certification is mandatory
- Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and grade levels, primarily elementary
Location and Schedule:
- This is a travel position based in Topeka, KS
- Approximate dates from early August through late May
- Full-time hours averaging 35 to 40 per week
