What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking an Intern for Operations to work side by side with our on-site teams shadowing the positions of Leasing Professional, Business Manager, Community Manager and Maintenance Staff. Our interns gain an understanding of each position and how all properties run and function as a team.

This is a full-time position with full benefits. Pay range: $20.00-24.00 per hour. You will be working in an office and onsite at our properties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully engage / shadow a variety of positions to gain an understanding of every facet of Property Management
  • Be present and prepared for all duties expected of CONAM associate
  • Be flexible, engaged, enthusiastic and self-directed
  • Active participation and discussion with Mentors / Leaders and Peers to increase understanding of the complexity of property management and its residents
  • Increased awareness of financial responsibility / reporting
  • Understanding what “Service Excellence” means and how to execute it
  • Networking with professionals internal to CONAM
  • Setting goals for professional and personal growth
  • Ability to travel locally
  • All other duties as assigned

Who You Are: (Requirements of the Position)

  • Bachelors Degree in real estate or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
  • Self-Motivated
  • Team-oriented thinking
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
  • Good judgment solving problems and making decisions
  • Ability to take initiative and ask questions, learn quickly and strive for results
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage
