Job description:
we are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Patissier/Pastry Chef with strong production management capabilities to lead our pastry department. This role demands artistic flair for traditional French baking, rigorous production oversight, and leadership to ensure consistent excellence, drive new product development, and manage daily operations of our pastry kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and oversee the creation of a wide range of high-quality French pastries.
Prepare seasonal and innovative recipes while maintaining authenticity and high standards.
Ensure all products meet stringent quality, taste, texture, and presentation standards.
Manage daily production schedules, working backward from service times for perfect freshness and presentation.
Uphold strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
Oversee inventory, manage ordering, control costs, and minimize waste for the pastry department.
Manage equipment maintenance and ensure a clean organized workstation.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end Bakery.
Deep knowledge of classic French patisserie techniques.
Creative, precise, and passionate about pastry arts.
